The hotel is built right next to a golf course and split into several separate buildings/blocks. Rooms were good and the bathrooms were of a good standard/size. Lots of things to entertain you/children in the hotel grounds if you want a lazy day at the hotel. The pools were nothing special but were adequate for our needs. A very nice environment for breakfast overlooking the golf course. We stayed for 7 nights and had no difficulty getting a table for breakfast and it was a fairly calm environment. Breakfast had a good choice and was of a good quality. Lots of things to do within a relatively short drive. The Monterey Aquarium was particularly good.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. It’s clear that no expense has been spared when it comes to the quality of this hotel. Modern decor,that feels like five-star. The location is ideal—far enough from the hustle of the main areas. A nice distance to walk. The rooms are spacious,well designed and incredibly comfortable. Everything from the bedding to the lighting has been thought through with care. Customer service was good. Reception staff were warm, professional, and efficient, and housekeeping was consistently excellent throughout our stay.

You feel close to nature, despite being very close to the main dual-carriageway freeway. Lovely views over the golf course. I liked the choice of shower gel, shampoo etc. products. One of the best fitness centres I've seen in a hotel in a long time. Good commitment to sustainability by having communal water dispensers rather than producing plastic water bottles.

Comfortable beds, nice clean rooms, fire pit with s’mores was fun; we didn’t use pool or pickleball courts, but those looked fun. Good A/C. Water coolers by ice machines with hot and cold water a nice feature. Lots of parking available. Maids were very friendly and helpful.

I always compare hotel here in US and Dubai.. nothing compares Dubai service, this is by far the closest.. i love their smorebox that they offer during your check in, something to enjoy with your family..
